Our Heritage
KMM Precision Measuring traces its heritage to the pioneering innovation culture of Kaman Corporation, founded in 1945 by Charles H. Kaman. In 1957, the company expanded into advanced research with the formation of Kaman Sciences, tackling complex technical challenges for government and defense applications. By the early 1960s, this foundation gave rise to Kaman Instrumentation, where breakthrough non-contact measurement technologies — particularly Eddy Current sensing — were developed to meet the rigorous demands of aerospace and industrial systems.
